- JC Sekhar is the Co-founder and CEO of AcuiZen Technologies, a Singapore-founded venture. AcuiZen is a no-code application that enables people-centric digital transformation leading to operational excellence across the organization. He is also the Co-founder of EiSqr Solutions. EiSqr provides advisory services, digital tools and connects with technological interventions to advance inclusiveness and integrity in a company’s ESG journey. JC is an MBA alumnus of the National University of Singapore. He also holds a Master's degree in Technology (Aerospace) from IIT Madras, India. He has over 36 years of experience working with and leading teams across geographies and sectors. He has held roles across functional areas including Design, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Management System Assessments, HSE, L&D, Business Development, and Operational Excellence. A good proportion of his corporate experience, before JC’s entrepreneurial journey that started in 2015, was with the 125+ year-old U.S.-based Safety Science Organization: Underwriters Laboratories Inc (UL) where he spent almost two decades. His last role there was Managing Director (Asia Pacific and Middle East) for its Health & Safety practice. JC has travelled extensively worldwide to develop business and advice stakeholders, across industry sectors, on their Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental practices Risk mitigation strategies, Competency development, and Operational excellence initiatives. He is also credited with conceptualizing and launching several new service offerings during the course of his professional career. JC has spoken and moderated panel discussions at several global events and conferences. Amongst other events, he was invited by UNIDO (United Nations International Development Organization) to Vienna, Austria in 2019 to present a paper on Industrial Safety in the context of Industry 4.0. JC is also a founding and active member of “Global Initiative for Future Industrial Safety” an international working group set up by UNIDO, GMIS, and Lloyd's Register Foundation.
